Before/After: The Rebuilt Billing Module

We rebuilt the billing module from the ground up. The old interface required 11 clicks to generate an invoice. The new one takes 3.

A walkthrough of what changed and why we made each decision:

• Billing runs now pull all approved time and expenses for a period automatically — no manual line-item selection.
• Review screen shows every line item with inline discount and write-off controls before anything is finalized.
• One-step generation produces PDF invoices for every client in the run at once.
